Here at Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Island, one of our holidays is Valentine’s Day. Not only is it a chance for everyone to spread some love and kindness, but our annual community breakfast has brought people together for delicious food and great company for over 20 years now, all while supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Island.

Unfortunately, the Covid-19 pandemic has shaped our world in many news ways, including the ability to get together in-person to support community organizations. It has also impacted our ability to get together with loved ones, those individuals who hold a special place in our hearts.

This Valentine’s Day, Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Island has teamed up with Traiteur Brera in order to allow you to bring the Valentine’s Day experience right to your door, all while supporting a community organization. Order one of Traiteur Brera’s Valentine’s Day meal kits, requiring minimal preparation and delivered straight to your door, and enjoy dinner with your partner, best friend, or a family member from the comfort of your own home.

Can’t be together? Order one for yourself, and one to gift to that special someone- whether it’s your Valentine, Gal-entine, or just someone who you want to spread some love to this year (healthcare hero, anyone?!)!

A portion of every meal kit sold is donated back to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the West Island, whose mission is to enable life-changing mentoring relationships to ignite the power and potential of young people. The proceeds from these meal kits will go toward creating new mentoring matches in order to support the youth in our community. so you can enjoy Valentine’s Day knowing you spread some love and kindness beyond your own front door.
